Video Questions FAQ
- What do you use to capture your video?
Monday, 29 November 1999I use a ATI All in Wonder 9600, although there are plenty of capture cards out there now including HD capture cards which I might eventually invest in. Also most capture cards come with various software to capture video, so after you have it setup so that it is receiving your cable connection you can use those or find some other software you like.
Last Updated Monday, 29 November 1999 - What do you use to create your videos?
Monday, 29 November 1999A variety of different tools, however for simple videos Windows Movie Maker is easiest. If you need any further information on this let me know, this includes generic questions about using different editing tools (I've used a lot of them so I probably will be able to help).
Last Updated Monday, 29 November 1999 - Why do you provide two different versions of the videos?
Monday, 29 November 1999Choices are good. If they just want a quick download then they can opt for the smaller version, if they want a high quality version they can also do that. I love high quality videos, but I realize not everyone wants to spend the time to download them.
Last Updated Monday, 29 November 1999 - Will you host my videos?
Monday, 29 November 1999Sure thing, as long as it is acceptable. Thats kind of a judgment call by me, but chances are yes. Either send me a email via the contact us link on the left or you can reach me on extremeskins under the handle sableholic (I'm on there a lot ). I can handle all of the converting necessary, so don't worry about that part. Also make sure its a high quality video, as I do like to provide the best quality for those willing to actually download them.
